Solano Scanner - an easy-to-use 3D scanner
that can be quickly and easily installed on any make of
portable measuring arm. Installing a scanner on your
existing measuring arm has never been easier, and offers
arm users the chance to upgrade existing equipment with
the World's leading laser scanner.

incorporating the Solano 3D laser scanner PLUS Kreon's
all-new portable measuring arm.

Solano Scanner :
The new Solano laser scanner from
Kreon Technologies is the result of almost 20 years know-how in
the development and manufacture of class-leading laser line
scanners. Solano is a "plug-and-play" scanner that does not
require any control or interface box, and can be easily
integrated onto most makes of portable measuring arms, including
Faro, Cimcore, Romer, BACES, Nikon (Metris), etc.

 The
Solano also features a unique, patented "in-line" probe such
that the scanner can be used with an arm for traditional touch
probe activities, without the need for cumbersome offset probes.
This makes calibration of the probe and scanner far more
efficient and reliable, plus it places the scanner directly in
line with the arm axis to make scanning even easier.
The Solano scanner can be combined
with a variety of software solutions, according to application
and need, such as Geomagic for reverse engineering and
Metrologic inspection software for 3D measurement and
inspection.

The Kreon
Solano ScanArm combination is an easy-to-use, fast and accurate
scanning solution.
The all-inclusive combination of a
Kreon / BACES3D portable measuring arm with the latest Solano
scanner gives you immediate access to 3D scanning. The arm is
manufactured from composite materials to give a lightweight
operation yet an extremely stable construction. Built-in
temperature sensors automatically compensate for thermal
changes, to guarantee accuracy in all environmental conditions.
The 7-axis arm / scanner is
available with a 2.6m or 3.2m measuring volume, with a
repeatability of 60mm
and 75mm
respectively. The all-inclusive packages comprise measuring arm,
scanner plus 3D analysis software according to measuring needs ;
