NDT Surface Inspection – SmartDENT
SmartDENT is the first dedicated 3D visualization software designed for aircraft assessment and characterization of dent damage on aircraft surfaces. More accurate and faster than traditional methods, it limits the operator’s impact on measurements, shortening the time needed to generate final reports. The module provides OEMs with comprehensive data on issues that require further analysis.
The module is easy to use and provides an intuitive interface that allows operators to automatically collect data from a variety of sources, including laser scanners and other NDT equipment. It also offers an interactive rule for defect characterization on different aircraft components, sizes, and surface finishes.
The module includes a guided workflow approach that simplifies the measurement extraction of 3D scan data and obtains the exact dimensions required for assessment.
