The Evo range includes a 4.3″ integrated screen to compare live scan data to the original CAD drawings. The interface has been designed to maximise the usability of the handheld scanner, shortening the learning curve and allowing more team members to work confidently with minimal training.

The HandySCAN 3D EVO Series represents the next evolution in portable metrology, combining trusted metrology-grade accuracy with an all-new scanning experience powered by Creaform.OS. Designed to help engineers scan, validate and make confident decisions faster, the EVO Series introduces a built-in touchscreen interface, real-time visualisation and enhanced onboard workflows across the range.
For the first time, operators can compare scan data to CAD directly on the device using Best Fit or Fixed Reference alignment, view real-time colour mapping, and interact with a live 3D representation of the inspection as they work. This immediate feedback helps reduce rework, improve confidence and streamline inspection from the shop floor to the quality laboratory.
Every scanner in the EVO Series features a 4.3-inch graphical display providing live visualisation and on-part guidance, helping users capture complete, accurate data before leaving the component. Although the HandySCAN 3D EVO Series introduces a new generation of portable metrology technology, it continues Creaform’s long-standing commitment to metrology-grade accuracy. Every model is manufactured to ISO 17025standards and tested to ISO 10360, delivering traceable, repeatable measurement accuracy regardless of operator, surface, or working environment.
A supplied 350 mm scale bar and integrated calibration system help maintain measurement stability and precision throughout the scanning process, even in changing shop-floor conditions.
