Join us on Tuesday, February 27th 2024 at iAero, to explore MSL’s design, manufacture and inspection solutions for parties operating in the aerospace and advanced engineering industries.
3D Scanning and Metrology can save the aerospace sector time and money; stakeholders are facing increasing challenges due to manufacturers’ accelerated innovation, stricter regulatory standards, and heightened concerns for passenger safety and profitability targets.
MSL offer a range of 3D scanning and metrology solutions for inspections, quality control and reverse engineering – allowing for highly accurate scans of small to large-size parts to generate inspection reports, enabling manufacturers to quickly check the validity of their parts
We invite you to join peers and experts for a day of exploring the scanning capabilities of MSL equipment, with demonstrations of how manufacturers can improve the efficiency of inspection and reverse engineering workflows with end-to-end measurement solutions.
MSL will provide product demonstrations addressing a range of application areas, utilising Creaform Handheld scanners, the Virtek Laser Positioning System and the Renishaw Equator for shop-floor gauging.
If your business is in the Aerospace, Advanced Engineering, Low Carbon or Digital sector (or supplies these sectors) and is based in Somerset (excluding BaNES and North Somerset) then this workshop is open to you as part of the Somerset Innovation Network. (Or Dorset if in the Aerospace or Advanced Engineering sector).
How much does it cost?
This workshop is fully funded through the Somerset Innovation Network – funded by Somerset Council.
What is the Somerset Innovation Network?
The Somerset Innovation Network is a fully-funded programme driving innovation and collaboration to forward-thinking, and growth-driven businesses in the region.
Bringing together three innovation centres in Somerset – iAero in Yeovil, Digital Innovation Centre in Taunton and SEIC in Bridgwater, the network aims to encourage collaboration and innovation between businesses, whilst helping them grow and develop through a variety of tailored 1-2-1 support, informative workshops and networking opportunities.
